    I'm not sure if you are there yet, but the thing that finally pushed me over to doing a pullup was doing negative pull-ups. It only took about a month before I nailed my first pullup doing those every day (I work out at home and not a gym so it's easy to practice on the bar at random times. I also sunk like a rock the first times I tried it). Just sayin' that it might help ya when you are ready if you have trouble nailing it.

    Still looking forward to your presentation on why you are doing what you are doing. Glad to hear that you are focusing on pullups and pushups. I swear, those with squats and deadlifts is just about all a body needs to put on some serious strength. When I stopped screwing around with complicated routines and just hit the big muscles and more "full body"--it made a world of difference.
